"What disturbing things, exactly? Come sit here by my side, tell me everything, dear. Would you like a cup of tea to relax?" He could make one for her, it would take him a while since he was still sleepy but surely she had time, no?
Just LOOK at him, hobbling back to his desk with no sense of urgency. You could swear that old disease was still going around...only...he was old so this was probably him 90% of the time. Sad life it was when you realized something like that and the Gryffindor impatiently tapped her fingers on his desk as she waited. If she didn't know any better, she'd think he was doing it on purpose.
Oh? An invitation to sit right there with him and pour out all the worries of her poor, fragile soul?--Yes, dramatic, but it'd been MONTHS since she'd seen her wand and bag OKAY????
Lex hopped up from her seat and pulled it along the floor in such a way that it made an obnoxious noise all the way around the table til it rested right next to Professor Botros. At this point she flopped into it once more and gave a solid shake of her head.
"No tea Sir, I've never really been a fan of the stuff." And that wouldn't be changing any time soon. Besides, she had some serious matters to discuss here.
"Professor, have you ever loved something so much you'd out someone for it?" A good question to start so they could be on the same page and he could understand how thoroughly annoyed she was at him keeping it a secret so long.
