It was finally her turn and Jasmine knew that she was going to have to connect with the Hippogriff. She stepped up and stood in front of, but well away from the animal. Once she caught his attention, Jasmine looked him directly in the eye. It was time for a little staring contest. She was pretty good at it, having been the staring champion of her household. It was nice to finally find a place where that skill came in handy.
