Not only was everyone finishing WAY before him, but they still had to go and take their plant places. Could he make a detour on the way to eat? The boy was STARVING. So much so in fact, that he could EAT the plant he was healing.

But of course, he'd survived the process, having made it to the end eventually. EVENTUALLY. He stared at Professor Botros for a short moment though, disbelieving. Well done? HOOOWWWW was waiting over five hours well done? Nope, the man was still insane, surely. But it was nice to not hear yelling or points deductions. "Thanks Professor, I'm just sorry it took so long... I think it was the chanting galdr thing, the words," were they even words? surely not, "they just... didn't want to come properly, it's like a tongue twister." Yeah, hence the fail.
Once he had his things together, and his healed potted plant in hand, he left through the door ahead of the Professor, but he didn't rush... there was no point in rushing now. They could leisurely walk down the stairs, out the castle, across the grounds to the hut. Yeah. LONG way to go just for a plant.
