"Simon Bennett, MLE," the auror added as he offered a hand to the older man.

Now for the reason for his visit. "I wanted to meet you for both my role as department liaison and with security and had missed you at the orientation." Too many new faces and the crazy set-up that had been decided on hadn't made it easier. Plus a more formal setting might be better if any concerns needed to be brought up.

Simon Bennett? Nope, the kid’s not from his department, and no, he missed to meet this person at the Orientation. Paxton was pretty busy that day meeting new and returning employees alike, and yes, the young man in front was pretty easy to miss. Why? They all looked young in the Ministry! “Oh.” Paxton gave Mr. Bennett a grin and nod and gestured him to come inside.

Moving away from his desk and wiping his hand on his trousers, the department head offered his hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Simon Bennett.” MLE he said? Noted. “Please, take a seat. I have coffee and tea…and do help yourself to some cookies.” Paxton wondered why the MLE Liaison was here. Was he here to deliver some MLE news personally? Or was he just in a chatty mood of some sort? “So far…there had been no trouble in the wizarding world, I presume?” he asked as he pulled a chair for himself and sat down. “Actually, I take that back. There’s always something happening out there…” Paxton then reached for a cup and poured some coffee for himself. He’d love to be of service to Simon, but…the kid could be allergic to coffee…or tea? Or both??

She took some careful steps into the office and glanced around. It was simple, and very modern. “Nice office, its very…modern?” She offered as she glanced around the room. And look the motorcycle she glanced at it one more time.

“I must say, Motorcycle,” she complimented as she had glanced over to it again. Oh and he had invited her for coffee! SHE LOVED COFFEE she grinned and nodded, “that would be lovely,” she continued grinning but only now a little less excitedly coffee sounded great right now. "oh if you let me know when we have a conference I can always bring in treats, my aunt owns a little cafe in Ambleside." She grinned. Normally the distance for bagels and other treats would be ridiculous but well, they were the transportation department. She could always apparate there. Okay...so she wasn't awkward anymore maybe the thought of coffee had flipped a switch in her brain?

Paxton took a quick glance of his office too. Yes, he liked his office simple, albeit a messy table. Oh and another fan of Roxy? Ms. Tanner earned a sincere smile from her department head and inched closer to his motorbike. “She’s nice, isn’t it? Her name’s Roxy.” And no one dare touch her. “Ah well, my office is quite bare, but I do like the feel.” That way it’s easier to spot his things and such. Paxton nodded and went ahead to get a coffee cup for Kyleigh and poured some coffee in it. “Here you go, Ms. Tanner.” The department head carefully slid the cup and saucer towards her spot on the table and got himself a chair. “Ambleside? Do you live there too?” he asked as he sat down and took a sip of his coffee, and gestured her to do the same. “I have a cousin that lives near the Lake District. She’s from Grasmere.” He went there once…or maybe twice? He was still in Hogwarts when he last visited, which by the way, was years ago. “I shall take note of that, Ms. Tanner. Thank you for the offer.” Paxton raised his cup once more and finished his java.

“Right then. I’m glad you dropped by because I have some matters to discuss with you.” Paxton carefully placed his cup down, and summoned a folio. He quickly scanned it and placed it on the table. “I went to Russia a few years back…and I discovered a black market for brooms,” Paxton shifted in his seat and looked directly at Ms. Tanner. “Would you happen to have information regarding illegal brooms being sold here in England? Particularly from the city of Moscow?” Paxton might need to smuggle a prototype so his team could break it down into pieces, and see for himself why it is illegal, and why it is being sold underground. Exciting stuff, right?

SPOILER!!: Vincent!

He sighed and knocked and looked at the door. He didn't want to interrupt if he was meeting someone... Oh, and it was technically a rule to knock before going in right? It had been with his first head but eh... He really had no idea, and didn't want to start off on the wrong foot.

Paxton had been reviewing the bits and pieces of information he got from his sources when he heard a knock on his door. Just like a muggle born that he is, he got up from his chair—still reading the words from the parchment in his hand and opened the door. Well? Was the visitor going to introduce himself or what? Paxton looked up from what he was reading and opened the door fully. “Mr. Wither. Didn’t expect you to come in this early…” the department head released the door and smiled at his employee. “Please come in, and help yourself to a cup of coffee or tea…and I have biscuits too.” Yes, that should ease the apprehension that was on the young man’s face.

Paxton placed the parchment on his messy desk, and moved to join Vincent. “How are you, Mr. Wither?” the department head sat down on a chair and gestured his employee to do the same. Paxton quietly sighed and wondered exactly how complicated this young man's life is. He's too young to be bothered with so many things. Paxton wore a friendly grin, and prepared himself to give good counsel to Vincent.
