It had taken him some time, but he did manage to get through it eventually, and he didn't need to pause as much, nor did he have to stop completely and re-read and re-count the letters and gibberish on his parchment. The only question that remained was, was he ready?
Was he REALLY ready to do this?
What would happen if he stuffed up half way?
What would happen if he didn't finish the chant before he emptied the vial?
What if he emptied the vial after he finished the chant, did it have to be quick, or could he take forever?
Would the plant live even if he failed??....
Merlin this was a great deal of pressure.
