Max looked out the window of the train, seeing his mother and both sisters. Joy in all their eyes, not a bump or a bruise on them.. And his father, his real father. Who had kind eyes and a warm smile.. He wasn’t Maxwell Evans, he was Maxwell Lupin.
“Come on, Maxy.” His mother said most affectionately. He was ready to go. No more Robert, no more of that house, that cage. His dog days were over. His father knelt down. “Hello, Max-my name-” But he was interrupted with a hug neither of them would ever forget. “Hi, Dad.”
