Mercedes sat quietly as a the others continued to come in. She watched the others come in. She smiled back at the blonde woman, who had just came in. It was nice to see that everyone did seem to be very friendly here. That was nice. Turning toward Vic when she asked her about lunch. "It was nice. Thanks." Already, it was nice to get a break. She'd just have to get used to working these long hours and stuff that was all.
Another person arrived. He must have been new as well. Just by the way that the others greeted him. She smiled at him as he took a seat and got a bagel. She would have gotten one if she just didn't have lunch. Yep. She over heard the blind tell him that her name was Saxon. Interesting name. Kinda like hers. It was different.
She looked up once she heard her department head speak to her. She smiled and said. "Thanks, glad to be here and get to work" she gave her a small nod after she spoke. She sat there just little while longer until Mariel spoke again. Looking up as started the meeting. She listened, and listened. She nodded and smiled when she was introduced to the rest of the Department.
Although she was still new to the department and was also still relatively still new to Great Britain and the area and didn't know a lot of the political figures and what not. So she'd have to learn all about this Kettleburn for he retired. With the election it gave her and the department plenty to think about didn't it? She had a few ideas but wasn't sure how she could incorporate them into the election stuff. No idea.
