A response wasn't long in coming, the door to the office opening soon after followed by the instructions to enter the office. "Good day," he greeted as he did as was asked, closing the door a little behind him but not even half way. "...Bennett," Simon supplied as the department head broke off unaware of his name. "Simon Bennett, MLE," the auror added as he offered a hand to the older man.
Now for the reason for his visit. "I wanted to meet you for both my role as department liaison and with security and had missed you at the orientation." Too many new faces and the crazy set-up that had been decided on hadn't made it easier. Plus a more formal setting might be better if any concerns needed to be brought up.
