There wasn't that many things that Cora was really excited about about on a daily basic, but today's field trip ranked high on that list. In fact, she had been looking forward to this day for weeks and had been bouncing in excitement all morning. Field trips were cool after all.
Hurrying from toward the astronomy tower, Cora stopped at the small table and began her lint rolling procedure. How one person could get so much lint on oneself from the journey from the common room to the astronomy tower was beyond her. Once she was completely satisfied with her lint-free appearance she entered the classroom. Seeing the state of the room, she smiled. Yes, she was super excited for today.
Walking toward the chalkboard and Professor Flamsteed, she beamed brightly. "Good day, Professor. Beautiful day for a field trip," she said as she pulled her permission slip out and set it with the others, before grabbing a pamphlet and envelope. Placing them in her satchel, she made her way toward the middle of the classroom. |
