Doing something specifically for that team. Victoria let the thoughts cross her mind, she knew exactly what she would do with that team, but since she really couldn't do that she would go with what Mariel might think, but that could be discussed later. She noticed more were coming in and figured Mariel would want to focus on the meeting at hand.
Smiling nicely as another new face had come in. She wasn't sure who he was, but knew they would be introduced soon. She liked getting to know everyone in the department. Speaking of her eyes couldn't help but notice that Adam wasn't here. She worried that something might have happened. He wasn't one to miss. No he'd be there soon. She knew he would be.
Bringing her attention back to the meeting that was starting she smiled at Mercedes and gave a small clap for the new comers. Kirby, that was an interesting name, but not as interesting as what he had in his hand. Was that honey? Oh yes introductions of the managers of course. She gave a small hand lift when hers was done followed by a bit of a blush. Mariel was doing this as an announcement? "Thank you" she said to her best friend and then smiled towards Benji. Giving him a clap for congrats as well.
The minister was retiring, well this was interesting. Victoria sat back in her seat and listened. Someone to run, she looked around the room. The first person she thought might be good for this was Adam. The thought of herself only vaguely crossing her mind. They would be helping to host? So would their be not much focus on sports events this year? Victoria knew they had the big one last year, but she was hoping to get something else going, possibly the youth camps or even the Gobstones. "Will that be all that's main community events this year and what type of events would we be helping with do you think?" Not that Mariel would really know per say, but it was a few things that jumped into her mind.
