Ian was expectantly waiting on the professor, but when she showed up, this was not the woman he had come to expect happy snaps and good advice from. This was a different person who reminded him very much of Malexifent. And then she told them they would need to bow down and off she was distracted by mirrors.

He looked around and saw a girl with the book. He remembered something about that book. It was in the common room before he blanked out for a week. What was going on? He also noticed Norah and Benny react strongly to the book. It wasn't a good book. It was a book that took....and Ian began to remember bits and pieces. He thought about going over to the girl but she had already opened it. He shook his head.

He looked back at the professor. Professor, you brought the mirrors in. Perhaps you had some reason. This was all rather distressing. He was disappointed the class didn't seem to be headed in the direction he'd hoped. It certainly didn't appear it was going to involve professor Morgan.
