"I'm Penelope Greenwell, by the way," she added since they were doing introductions too according to Simon.

And bothered Genevieves were unpleasant.

She leaned back in her chair, boots propped up on her desk, and surveyed these recruits. Penelope looked scared out of her pants. The one who laughed about getting coffee, Tyler, he looked cocky. And the new girl had coffee already. AND GENEVIEVE HAD NONE. Unfair.

"Genevieve Branxton. Auror. Can we not play school anymore? Some of us actually work here."

As in officially since he had known her name before she had said it due to Emily's note and Genevieve's words."Well Victor here has a bit more freedom at the moment," he mused, knowing MLES was kinda on their own at the moment. "Josh here would technically make the decision on freeing you or not," he added glancing at his friend as he crossed his arms and leaned against his own desk.

Because the trainees might be needed to start their first day in another manner if the YATIL so choose of course.

Speaking of MLES, Victor had a fellow employee join him. One that Simon had seen around occasionally but never really had much interaction. Probably cause he seemed out of it or not all to forward and friendly. Well they'd get to know each other eventually. It wasn't the auror's job to run the little meet and greet that had essentially dropped into his lap. He had just been being nice.

As for job, Genevieve seemed to be a bit impatient as if forgetting what it was like during her own years. Seriously when had she gotten so...like that? "I already started work...what's your plan?" he commented to her with raised eyebrow. Technically he himself had already checked in with security downstairs and made sure that was running well so far AND had still beaten everyone else in and looked over files. She was an auror and could have begun her own work.

Helpful that one was. His eyes flickered to her, and he grinned. Little Miss Auror seemed to know a thing or two. That didn't really surprise him though.

Turning his attention back to the man, Legend's smile vanished. "I don't think I am anyone." He paused and raised his hand to scratch his chin. "Just like Branxton said, I know I'm Legend Chosen. Head Auror of the MLE. He let that sink in for a bit. The title still sounded strange to him, but it was the truth. "I also know how we settle disputes here in the MLE. But there's no dispute here Mister Bellaire." Yes, he did know your name because he had went over the YATI files. "There is simply a silly little YETI, who can't follow orders and will be punished for it." Looking around the office, Legend raised his voice.

"I want all the Aurors and all the members of the Youth Auror Training Initiative to gather around right now." He didn't make his desk reappear either, Legend simply stood in the middle of the room, arms crossed.

Victor was quick to nod at Penelope with a smile when she offered to come with him on the coffee run. It had just occurred to him that he had been setting himself up for a dropped cup and a ruined suit by volunteering to go all by his lonesome. Plus, this would be a great ice-breaker!

"Lovely to meet you, Penelope." He beamed at the friendly young woman. He would have shook her hand, but he'd already decided that wou shaking the hand of everyone present would have been a huge bit of bother that hardly seemed fitting in a crowd, even if this was his first day with his new colleagues. He'd tried so hard to repress the polite habit of reaching for a handshake, and he wasn't about to mess up his streak. Maybe later.

With the exception of a couple of grumps, his co-workers all seemed like lovely people. In most places these days, making a desk vanish from underneath an employee would be frowned upon, but in Victor's experience, that sort of thing was almost a daily occurrence. If there was a man on earth who understood what Law Enforcement work can do to ones temper, it was Victor LaCroix.

He had been so prepared to go and fetch that coffee, even to the point of gesturing to Penelope for her to go first, but it seemed the head auror had arrived just in time to put a stopper in those plans. He took a step closer to his new desk, not wanting to be in the way. He gave the group a defeated shrug as he moved, and his eyes flashed a look that seemed to say'This is going to be a long day.'. He sat at his desk, still facing the group. In that moment, bereft of his morning coffee, the experienced officer had about him the familiar air of a child on his first day of school.
