Emily waved her hand for the door to open, and followed that up with a casual, "Come in." After signing the bottom of a long document, she closed its folder and looked up to inspect her guest. "Rusty... not a social call I take it?" Or at least, certainly not at this hour... "Nahhh wouldn't want to influence you to set a bad example or anything now would I?" And besides, if it was he'd have brought food. Overstuffed kebabs or something. Rusty gave her a cheerful wink but then sobered up at least somewhat. He had official reasons to be here, yes. "I have a proposition for you actually -mind if I sit, Em?- an offer, a bit of a you scratch my back and I scratch yours kind of scenario." Rusty sat down even as he asked, perching on the arm of one of the chairs in front of her desk, crossing his feet at the ankle. "I know you're pushing on training lately, and I want in. That is to say I want to offer my services, training those of your employees who might benefit from my particular skill set, in return for some cross-disciplinary training for myself."
There was a whole lot that could be useful to her people. How to recognize if memories had been tampered with for one, proper memory analysis and preservation as evidence for another, emergency obliviation for those who she judged were up to the task, how to identify if your own memory, or that of your coworkers had been messed with... endless useful things really.
