Good to know he hadn't been imagining things on that haircut. Observation was one of the several skills he honed in his years as a Potioneer and he liked to think he paid enough attention to his employees--especially after the Healer fiasco. Gavin could tell when his employees were off the deep end headed to the loony bin and so far, they were JUST FINE. "It's a nice look. Very neat for the Profession." He commented as he took his seat seeing as the young man didn't want any coffee.
The moment he sat he saw his life flash before his eyes in high definition at the sudden appearance of his PA. The man was startled enough to spill a bit of his coffee before composing himself. "No, thank you Miss Black, I took everything with me--will you please refrain from doing that?" He wouldn't have said anything about her eager demeanor but for the fact he didn't think his heart could take it much longer. Merlin
"Doing just fine, Mr. McMillan, and you? How was the winter for you?" He greeted the man who's work he'd always been thoroughly pleased with to say the least. Good man he was. "Ms. Stephens, Ms. McCrae, welcome. I hope you didn't have too much trouble with the lifts this morning." They could be a bit daunting for new comers, taking you places you didn't wanna know existed. He should know.
.....And there was Ms. Pryce...click clacking in as usual but well put together way. It was hardly worth noting the somewhat late arrival, not when she looked so ready for the day. He gave a nod to her and a "Good morning.'" Before his attention was grabbed by yet another employee entering. "Mr. Bellamy, good to see you."
With that, Gavin took another glance down at his watch before deciding they wouldn't be waiting around any longer. Anyone else to show up would receive a scowl of disapproval and the task of catching up on their own. "I think it's time we got this meeting underway." He said, clearing his throat. "We'll start by welcoming our new employees, Ms. Black, Ms. McCrae and Ms. Stephens and I feel you should all be aware we will be expecting a busy year this time around, one full of changes, even moreso than the previous one." In case any of them were wondering. "Before we get any further, are there any concerns anyone would like to air?"
