The beauty of being the Junior Undersecretary is that, whenever you need to attend to a meeting in the conference room, it's just one door away.... Zach opened the door to the conference room as he was affixing his signature to some documents on a hovering clipboard.

As he look up, he saw familiar faces and new one. He listened to the lady as she introduced herself as the new assistant to the Senior Undersecretary before acknowledging them.

"Good day, Mr. Undersecretary. How are you today?" he then looked at the Personal Assistant and said "I am Zach McMillan, its a pleasure to meet you." extending his hand to her. He should get use to the assistants because they are like the extended shadows of the boss.

He then turned to Mr. Neves and said "How are you Mr. Neves. Nice..." he said pausing for a little while and then saying, "Haircut?" squinting as if seeing something that is not different with the guy.

He then moved towards the cart and poured himself some steamy, and not so pleasant coffee.
