"Hi Professor," Toby replied, stepping inside the office as she allowed him room to enter. But... ooooh, something to drink sounded brilliant right now. The corridors were still so cold, and if Toby ever turned down food or drink it was a clear sign that something was wrong. "I'd love some hot chocolate, if that's okay?"
He looked around the room curiously, never having visited this office before, and let his gaze linger on specific points of interest before looking at the professor again, still smile. "I, uh, actually came up here to apologise," the fifth year said, referring to the Divination professor's first question and managing to look apologetic even as he said it. He'd been meaning to visit before now anyway, for different reasons, but an apology was what specifically brought him here right now. [b] "Of course Hot Chocolate would be fine. Excellent choice!" She moved to make him a cup of hot chocolate. "Marshmallows too?" She learned to ask, because some liked them and some didn't. Turning back towards him with a look of curiosity she tilted her head. "Apologize" This certainly confused the professor.
Deciding to make herself a cup of peppermint tea, she looked at her cup and heated the water. "I'm certainly not sure what you have to apologize for Toby, you are a very good student and pleasure to have in the classroom." She had forgotten about him leaving the SNAC meeting and even if she hadn't she wouldn't have thought he needed to apologize it wasn't for everyone. Quote:

Course some of it was still kind of fuzzy, but he knew that he didn't say nice things and a few specific phrases were even stuck in his mind. But..... Why was she being so nice to him? He was, well, horrible yesterday. "I-uh-well... I'm feeling exhausted for some weird reason, but erm, how are you?" He said as he awkwardly took a few steps into the office. Ah. Awkward.
The Gryffindor let her finish offering the snacks before slowly shaking his head, "Erm, no thank you." He couldn't take her food after all the terrible things. Well, the terrible things he could remember. Merlin this was bad. What if he said anything WORSE than what he could remember. The fourth year awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, "I-er-Professor... I-I want to apologize for yesterday.... I well, I wasn't really myself..." And on that note, he reached into his bag and grabbed for the vial he had labeled 'hate potion' and held it out to her.
But there was more of an apology on the way. Only, just he had to try to remember what he had said. Because he needed to explain. Explain a lot. Walking back into the room she picked up a doughnut for herself. If he wasn't going to eat, she certainly was. "Well while you are here if you feel like you would like one feel free to help yourself." She had planned to figure out what was really going on with Zander, so they might be there awhile if he was going to be like he was yesterday. Though he was seeming back to his normal self. "Well I have to say I spend many hours reflecting and meditating on some of the things discussed yesterday, but I'm doing wonderful." She grinned towards him. No need to show she had taken his words to heart, because she was feeling a bit better about things now.
Taking a seat on her comfy couch she crossed her legs and listened to his words. So he was apologizing and he was admitting he wasn't himself, this might go better then Cassie originally thought. "Well yes, I figured that out quickly, it's why patience with you was a must and not to jump with points or detention. Why don't we sit and talk about what was really going to that made you extremely disrespectful to a professor." He was just lucky it was towards her and no one else that would have been less patient.
