Grasping on to the topic of the DADA homework Claudette shook her head slowly. "The questions part was relatively easy. The charm I haven’t gotten the hang of yet. I can't seem to master the right wand movement." There wasn't any shame in admitting that because it was the truth and Luc would understand.

Smiling, "I love ice cream. We could order a banana split to share. They always come in a large size." Sounded like a good choice.

Luc rested his chin over the knuckles of his closed fist while he listened to her tale. Blinking, "Wow.. that sounded fun." He was going to have a hard time not imagining the Librarian in a santa outfit from now on. Hehe. "Ohh, that always happens the first time." Bright idea forming, "If we're lucky with the Lake freezing again, I could help teach you. I can ice skate myself." As for his break, "I did for a little bit before my Uncle Charely caught me. He's not a fan of me skating over the pool when it's frozen."

Shrugging, "My break was pretty good. I got to babysit my cousins for the first time alone.. Much easier now." Grinning more. "Also visited my parents.. before coming back home." It was easier mentioning them now despite the different feeling. Luckily they had homework to talk about. "The wand movement is pretty hard.. especially when we're also expected to try it without speaking." Sometimes being an older student was a real pain. "How about we work on it together some more later? It'd be great if we can both do it wordlessly."
