Maybe the guy just wanted to sleep, but Phoenix was talking cause it took his mind off stuff. How was HE? "Girls, dude." Phe shrugged. "They're insane." Shifting onto his side so he was facing Phoenix, David propped himself up on his elbow. Hmm, dinner? Walking all the way down to the Great Hall seemed like way too much effort, sooo. "Get a first year to do it. Walking is effort." Though what would they bribe a firstie with? Sweets? Money? Hmmm.
And then girls came up. Girls and their insanity. Of course. "You're just now figuring this out, mate?" he asked, a slight teasing grin on his face. He had three sisters, so he wasn't too surprised anymore by how weird and crazy girls were. He'd learned to just roll with it...for the most part, at least. Running away from them was also a good option.
