"I want something with ice cream in it so a sundae or a banana split. Which would you prefer? I'm not picky. Or do you want something entirely different like a pie or a tart?" She could be flexible. They didn't absolutely need to get what she wanted.

"My break was lovely. Uncle Leo played Santa Claus on Christmas Eve and we sang Christmas carols before we opened our presents together." Claudette said with smile. Uncle Leo is of course also Hogwarts very own librarian. "And I got to try ice skating. It didn't go so well. I landed flat on the ice a lot." She ended with a grimace at Luc. That had been embarrassing Claudette remembered but nobody in her family had laughed too much thankfully. Blushing at Luc's comment she mumbled out in turn. "How was your break? Ice skated any?"

Grasping on to the topic of the DADA homework Claudette shook her head slowly. "The questions part was relatively easy. The charm I haven’t gotten the hang of yet. I can't seem to master the right wand movement." There wasn't any shame in admitting that because it was the truth and Luc would understand.
