Let's hope so. Onto Marion though, they'd had this conversation a few times. "Yeah, she is one. Only disguised. Marshmallow is very gryffindor, thank you for agreeing with me." He said with a smile. See how easy that was, Wisteria?
There came a laugh from the blonde at his girlfriend's words. "And send you stuff I will. Do you want some of that irish candy I first got you when we first started dating?" Maybe she loved that candy and wanted to try different types. It wouldn't be bad, too? Tag could visit his father for the day too and tell Lottie how that went. "Anything in particular?" Of any candy or type of owl, that is.
ANOTHER laugh came from the blonde. A long laugh. "It almost sounds like you've been waiting to hear and say those words." Yes, he had to take in Saxon's consideration. He brought a pet a year into that house, he had to slow down, honest, because his sister was starting to figure out her brother's way. And who knew when Tag could get his own flat. Limits. ".......... Yes. ...... Yes, I'll consider a limit."
How can someone limit giving animals love and a warm home? A warm chaotic home, though. Maybe Lottie was right.
He then looked at his girlfriend for a bit, eyebrows slightly knit together. Had Lottie not seen any of Tag's many pictures he had? There had to be a family photo somewhere in the house. "Yeah. He's my cousin." Huh. He was almost sure Lottie should've known that, or at least seen a picture of them somewhere in the house. "I'm obviously gonna be best man." Tag would bother Landon about this whole proposal and engagement and best man thing later.
Quickly he glanced at the menu and almost immediately knew what to get. "Mac and cheese and butterbeer for me. " His stomach may protest that combination, though.
Well, what do you know? That actually worked. He fixed it. So she smiled while shaking her head a bit, "Don't spoil her too much, though," she replied, smiling just like before. See? Fixed. Except for the Marion bit, because she was not a venus flytrap, at all, but she laughed and let it go. Tag would keep on calling her that no matter what she said. This will probably earn him a bite from the plant, you just wait. "I agreed she was part Gryffindor," the comment was added rather quickly, in case he thought she was completely letting go of the Hufflepuff.
The mention of Irish candy made her bite her lip almost instantly, but she was still smiling as she considered the answer she already knew she was giving. "Yes, that'd be nice. I miss it." Nod. "You choose what you think is best. I trust you." She had even apparated with him, trust was no longer an issue here, clearly. It had been back then. Actually, she'd been wanting to say that for quite some time. Always keeping Saxon in mind for this, the other blonde should be grateful. "I was waiting for the right time." Wink. It was bound to happen eventually. Unlike the limits he was supposed to set, those probably will never happen. He did say he'll consider it, that was almost half a promise. "I understand, you know? Remember that day at the shelter? That I wished I could take all the cats?" So, Lotus understood, to an extent. "Also, that one person couldn't take care of them all otherwise they wouldn't have time to do anything else?" Wink. Remember? That was important.
She looked at the menu some more, hoping to find anything with raspberries, but let it go quickly after. Yeah, she'll get a sandwich. She wasn't particularly hungry. Even less now that she learned about his cousin. She had no idea. NO IDEA. She had no cousins, by the way, and it made her wonder about Tag's extended family. Eyes squinting ever so lightly at the guy who had proposed, she failed to see any resemblance, and focused on her boyfriend again, "How many cousins do you have?" The family pictures she's seen mostly involved Tag, as a kid, a very cute kid, but she couldn't remember anyone else. "You should wait until he asks you." Just in case.
Now she was laughing. It was a very quick laugh. "Figured that's what you'd order." |
