"I can't blame her for not wanting to go near that venus flytrap. But, she can be half a Gryffindor, Marshmallow's very energetic." He said. Lottie's gryffindors were, so that should qualify her new kitten as half a Gryffindor at least.
He looked at his girlfriend for a bit when she said she was more than fine. "Honest?" Because, surprisingly, but, it wasn't exaggerated, it seemed to be Lottie who was having a harder time with Hogwarts being in their way. "I'll still send you some sweets. But, something tells me you still have it all, minus the hot chocolate- that's probably done."
Even Lottie had to reinforce Tag to not get any more pets any time soon. Which was difficult for him because he wanted all the animals. But, at the pace he was going with at the moment, if he continued, that house would turn into a zoo. "No more pets. Not until I get my own flat at least. I highly doubt Saxon has been pleased with all the random pets I bring into the house all the time." Silly, because she should be.
Tag glanced back behind him to look at Landon, and Melanie, having some sort of show. And, upon Lottie's words, Tag sort of jumped up in his seat, not entirely, more like a wiggle, and said, "I'm gonna be a best man!" Sorry Chris, Ryan, and James, family came first. Right, so, "Food? Let's look at our menu." Casual.
It was in her nature, how do you stop a kitten from being curious, hmmm? Or stop anyone from being who they truly are? Exactly. The Hogwartian was about to say something about it, but then closed her mouth when he added that final bit. A heart attack? Seriously, Tag. "No, we don't need that." A hint of sadness in her voice. Way to go, boyfriend. Sigh. "Marion is not a venus flytrap, I suppose there's some Gryffindor to Marshmallow, then." Her tone changed, and she even gave a small smile. The thought of her and Gryffindors made her smile widen a bit more.
Please, don't ask that. "Honest," but it was rather relative. She was truly fine, though, only even more so at the moment, for reasons. Mainly the company. Lottie firmly believed this was tougher on those who stayed behind, than the ones who left. She'd been doing much better, she gained a distraction over the holidays. A white, fluffy, distraction. His words made her laugh, "You can keep on sending me stuff, I'm not telling you to stop." Hmmm, hot chocolate. Thanks to the mention, she knew what she wanted to drink. "Finally." She said, suddenly. "You're finally taking Saxon into consideration for such a decision." Quickly, she stuck her tongue at him. Yes, Marshmallow wasn't staying at Tag's, so she understood that Saxon didn't need to be involved in getting the kitten, but if Tag was considering getting another pet, then it was obvious he ought to consult to the owner of the house, no? Yup. She smiled again, "Even then, you'll consider a limit, right?" A limit to the number of pets he's allowed to have.
Oh? Best man? Lottie straightened up in her seat a little and tilted her head to one side, "Wait, best man?" she asked, frowning slightly in confusion, "Do you know him?" Because she didn't.
As far as food goes..., "Maybe a sandwich. Definitely hot chocolate." She knew that much. Progress. |
