Soph and Tobes had certainly done their research for this little bit of fun. They knew more or less what time Fuller and Thompson were likely to head down this little bit of corridor, and were sure to get there a little early.

"C'mon," the Hufflepuff said in a needlessly hushed tone, after poking his head around the corner to check that the coast was clear. He led the way to the humpbacked witch statue and then crossed to an alcove directly across from it, letting Soph take the more effective cover of the creepy looking witch.

Toby reached for his pocket to get out the tiny phial of potion... and froze. Where was it? The boy went wide-eyed and checked all his pockets, and was even about to look inside his shoe when he realised... his hand. It was already in his hand. Sigh.

Looking to Soph again, Toby a thumbs up and a questioning raise of his eyebrows, as if to say, all ready? Once he knew all was good, he unstoppered his phial, tipped the entire contents (only a mouthful's worth anyway) into his mouth, and waited.
