The note turned sour as the Piper's attention was caught by a larger boy pointing a strange noise-making, light-producing box at him.
Camera is what he thought it was called. Had the music drawn him? Had it worked?!
"Do you seek only to steal my image or.." and at this, he stood, hopefully. "Were you perhaps drawn to the music?"
He took a step closer.
"Did.. it make you want to do anything?"
