She had little to no interest in arguing with the former Arithmancy Professor, she couldn't see the woman coming back not when Truebridge was so adamant of the woman's guilt, which was evident through the journal entries. Still, for the sake of moving things along, she interjected in their little conversation - not that Chosen couldn't handle the woman himself, of course.
"Ms Domingo, you have the right to an attorney, and if you cannot afford one a public defender will be assigned to you, but there will be time to make such arrangements once we have you in holding... believe me when I say we have many questions for you, rest assured you will be heard." The woman would have her say, but in the mean time... she wanted the woman out of her sight. Loud people were especially irksome, and this one had an abrasive accent to boot.
"However, at present we have a warrant for your arrest and to search your office, so if you will kindly go with Legend Chosen we won't have any problems... wands of course are protocol, something I don't expect you to understand." She spared her colleague a look, this one was a wet fire cracker. Big mouth, but lacking bite. Was she really guilty of the crimes she's been reported for? Time would tell.

Well he would have but she continued talking you see. So instead his attention turned to the boss lady. "I'm pretty sure she's saying that you're inept." Considering the fact that she was indeed one of the higher figures in the Ministry. Not a good start, Domingo.
Emily started speaking then however, assuring the woman of her rights which he didn't think would do too much to calm her down.
"We currently posses the entries because you were careless." Never mind that they were copies. Ahem. It was all her own fault really. Got herself in this mess. "Also rest assured that we will attempt answer any questions of yours that we deem fit when we get to the ministry. " See how nice they could be Miss I'm A Proffesor I Must Question You All?
Any questions would be answered.
That they deemed fit. And by 'they' he meant him. And by 'any' he meant none. Withdrawing the warrant from his pocket Legend placed it on her desk. It was official, okay?
"So come on. Let's go-oh and for the time being I will also be needing your wand." And he didn't lower his own because tough luck Domingo. She should count herself lucky that Emily wanted to do the searching and not the escorting because he wasn't going to tie her up and drag her out of the room like someone else probably would have.
They were saying all of this formal mumbo jumbo meant to reassure her, but she wasn't buying it for one second. She was not just a pretty face, she was intelligent as well. She took it all in, but she wasn't saying any more than she had to.
"Yes, I can assure you I will be in touch with a lawyer." The woman, she seemed sharp. This Chosen fellow.. imbecile for sure.
As for the entries, he was clearly lying. She had just checked on them this morning and found everything in order. One more strike against the little boy trying to fill his big boy shoes. Therefore, she addressed her final comment to the woman.
"Fine. And I'll thank you not to let this one muck it up," she said, handing over her wand to the woman in the process. She was confident: they couldn't possibly have her papers, and nothing in there could pin this mess on her anyways. She would be reunited with her wand very soon.
And before they could force her, she got up and strode around them towards the door.
"Let's get this over with."
