Breakfast time, best meal of the day, if you asked Toby. Then again, if you asked Toby, the best meal of the day was........... every meal. All of them. All food.

The Hufflepuff had actually already eaten today, on the way back from his morning run, but he still liked to go into the Great Hall and fill up on more food before a proper day of learning; after all, he needed to eat a lot to keep up with the kind of energy he was burning off. And today, he had his little fairy friends who would probably LOVE the Great Hall.

Toby strode into the Hall and took a seat at the end of his house table, placing his jar of fairies in front of him. He grabbed a slice of toast or four and dropped them onto his plate, before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the fairy food bottle. Watching the inhabitants of the jar closely, Toby opened up the jar and sprinkled the fairy food inside, before re-lidding it. He slipped the bottle back into his pocket, reached blindly for a slice of toast (as he was still staring into the jar) and chewed on it thoughtfully as he watched the fairies eat.

... And dance. Always with the dancing. Toby supposed that was because they were so ENERGISED after getting their food or something, which he could definitely relate to.

The more Toby watched the fairies, the more aware he became of their subtle differences. If he had time today, he would definitely need to sit down and write those differences out, and think up names for the fairies, though he already had one in mind.

With the fairies glowing and dancing in the jar beside him, loving the attention they were getting, Toby wolfed down the rest of his toast, washed it all down with some pumpkin juice, and left the hall again to pick up his schoolbag. He was still deciding whether or not to take the fairies with him to classes.
