Fifth years and above only? But he was a big kid now. He was a FOURTH year. That had to count for something. And he wanted to help tooo!!! 'Cept, if he could help while staying near the group that'd be nice too. But all the other Gryffindors were doing something and he could be a Gryffindor too. Even if he didn't really say anything, y'know? He still kinda wanted to help get rid of it because that meant that there wouldn't be a mean troll around anymore. Anything to make that happen.

So Zander took a step forward to stand next to Kevin. Yeah, he wouldn't let his fellow goober go into this alone.
