A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

"You have a rag and some soap to help. If you run out of water, saliva works just as fine." Because he was not getting refills with that attitude.
Using the rag, Kevin decided to begin at the top plank of the fence and work his way down and around. Although he was sure he wasn't getting far without the use of magic. Apart from cleaning his room...and the potions lab last year during detention he had never cleaned before.

Wait...he was serious about not helping? WHAT?! "YA! even PotionsFace helped me out and he hated me" Or he thought that he was hated but it turned out he didn't like his attitude. Whatever.

He threw the rag in to the bucket, causing some of the water to splash and spill over it. He groaned as he squeezed the rag and began to clean the fence some more. Saliva? "ewww" he made a face as he looked up at the Professor. He was weird.

Faster than he thought, he was soon done with the first plank of the fence and he used the back of his sleeve to wipe his forehead. He never thought about it because he came from a long line of pureblooded family, but this muggle work was tough. "How do muggles survive without magic?" he asked, more to himself than anyone else but whatever.

Starting with the next plank, Kevin slowly turned quiet as he focused on his task. Apart from having to look where he stepped, and sometimes having to stand awkwardly to avoid the droppings, it wasn't THAT bad. At least he was outside and he was used to the smell by now.
