She was now on daddy's lap and Chloe couldn't be happier. She took her hands to his face and patted them. "Da da da da" giggling she was so happy to be on daddy's lap. Leaning her head on his chest she wanted daddy cuddles. He had been gone for a long time. Now he was talking to mommy again, well that just wasn't going to do, "Da da da" She hit his chest without moving her head, throwing her hand up making her little fingers almost go up his nose. She wanted his focus.
Her hands clapped together as he bounced her. This was fun, she giggled and clapped. Did this mean he was paying attention only to her? Her green eyes looked up at him to see he was talking with mommy still. Her hands went up to his face again for all his attention.
Minerva turned and watched her husband with the kids, "They can be exhausting." She chuckled, after all day of picking up after them it was tiring, but she wouldn't have it any other way. Smiling at his question she bit her lower lip and came over and sat down. "I do. I mean I haven't danced in awhile and seeing that caught my interest. It's all I've thought about today. Then I started thinking about mom and how she use to be such a big part of it with me." She glanced at her own kids, "It's my turn now." She knew it wouldn't be for awhile before Chloe would get into it, but why not start when the opportunity was there.
When he agreed and said they could make it work she threw her arms around him and Chloe hugging them both. Then leaning in to kiss him, "Thank you, I think it's going to be fun. I'll only be teaching the very basics to them, so it shouldn't be too hard." She looked at her daughter and laughed, "She really misses her daddy during the day." Such a daddy's girl. "What do you want to drink?" Getting back up she went to grab the plates.
