She smiled brightly at him and rest her hand on his arm, commanding his attention.

Right, he...had forgotten to bring a jar. Whoops. But he didn't mind using one of the professor's spare ones. Seemed like the other guy was being taken care of anyway so - David's attention was directed back to Ruby when she spoke, the last name connection between her and the other bloke not even registering in his head.

"Yeah, sure," he grinned. "Just let me grab a jar first." Then he could clean everything at once, which made the most sense. He hopped up and grabbed two jars - he didn't see if she'd brought her own? - and Scourgify'd them on the way back to her.

"For you." He offered one of them to her with a grin. "Now just give me your gloves and I'll do them too. You wanna try freezing, distracting, or catching the fairies?" He was cool with doing any of those. Freezing particularly seemed like it would take the least amount of effort to him. Probably easier than just distracting.
