Emma Thompson, while promoting the release of her new book,
The Spectacular Tale of Peter Rabbit, chatted with
The Times recently about her career, her family, and of course
Harry Potter. The Oscar-winner actress commented on a scene that was unfortunately taken out of the movies, but remains true to the Trelawney character from J.K. Rowling's book series.
Quote:
Emma Thompson: [While playing Professor Trelawney in the Harry Potter films] "I have a nervous breakdown in the film and in one scene I get to stand at the top of the stairs waving an empty sherry bottle which is, of course, a typical scene from my daily life, so isn't much of a stretch."
