It was lucky the Potions classroom was so close to the clever little room where Red slept, so that the fact that Red was running a bit behind this morning meant she was still pretty early. Finding her red cloak was easy, but filling the basket she carried with a jar of soup, a plate of cookies, a bundle of flowers, and her kitten was much more difficult. The kitten had been particularly stubborn, and she'd been forced to leave him behind.
It wasn't clear why she had to be in this dreary room, except that she felt she had to, and Red tiptoed into the room and glanced cautiously at the man sitting at the front. He was all sharp smiles and pleased expressions, and Red was completely sure that wasn't really a professor man at all.
"My, my," the girl murmured as she slipped into a seat. "My, my, my. What very big eyebrows that man has."
