Toby had figured from the signs on the notice boards that today was probably not going to be a practical lesson, but that still didn't stop him from BELIEVING OTHERWISE. He entered the room with a look of utmost hope on his features, like that maybe there would be cauldrons and stuff all set up and he'd have been wrong. But nope. Nope.

Finally resigning himself to the fact that today was likely going to be all theory and brainwork and thinking and NOT moving around, Toby made his way to any old desk and sat there, trying not to look TOO disheartened. Potions was one of his best subjects, after all, maybe this lesson wouldn't be TOO hard to focus on.

He could hope.

"Hi Professor C," the Hufflepuff greeted the Potions Master, with a small smile of his own and a wave as he got his note-writing stuff ready, already bouncing and fidgeting away.
