Daniel Radcliffe is to attend the Friday of this month’s MCM London Comic Con to promote his latest film, the supernatural, offbeat thriller Horns. From master-of-horror Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, Piranha 3D) comes this supernatural, offbeat thriller starring British actors Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple (Magic Magic, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For).

Ig Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe) is accused for the violent rape and killing of his girlfriend, Merrin Williams (Juno Temple). After a hard night of drinking, Ig awakens, hungover, to find horns growing out of his head; they have the ability to drive people to confess sins and give in to selfish impulses. Ig decides to use this effective tool to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend’s death and to seek revenge by finding the true murderer.

Horns is based on the dark fantasy novel of the same name from New York Times best-selling author Joe Hill (Heart Shaped Box) with a screenplay by Keith Burnin. Alexandre Aja, Riza Aziz, Joey McFarland and Cathy Schulman produce.

Daniel Radcliffe is an acclaimed star of both film and stage most recently starring opposite Zoe Kazan in the romantic comedy What If, in the role of Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings and starring in what has become the most successful British horror film of all time, The Woman In Black. He will next be seen starring opposite James McAvoy in Frankenstein. Daniel has, of course, also played the eponymous role in all eight of the Harry Potter films.

Horns will be released across the UK on 29th October, 2014.
A new behind-the-scenes look at Horns was released on French television, and Lionsgate UK posted two new television spots, which also announced the release date was moved up to October 29.
