Were they ready to move on? It appeared that the vast majority of them had finished their calculations. "Now if you will please turn to page seven of your textbooks as you finish up.." She continued circling the room during the inevitable shuffling of books and pages. "The meaning of each Life Path number can be found on this page. You will notice that the meanings for the Master Numbers are at the bottom and also that, in this calculation, the master 33 is not possible."

"So now that you have your calculations and their interpretations, please apply the textbook meanings to your three people. How does the analysis fit with their life outcomes if they have already lived a full life? If they are still alive, what does the analysis predict is yet to come for them?" This was always the interesting part of lessons: getting to see what lay ahead.
He was still going over his work, just to make sure he didn't get something wrong. It felt weird thinking that Emily and Professor Airey had the SAME number and he had a completely different one. It was.... kinda... sucky? Like, he was, left out of the cool club?

...

He'd barely noticed that the Professor was making her way around, so when she spoke to him - and not telling him off for once - it made him jump slightly in his seat.

...

As much as he wanted to NOT talk to her ever again, he couldn't keep the words from escaping his mouth. "Thanks, Professor." ....

....

Still didn't mean she was forgiven for being a meanypants though.

The lesson was progressing though, and to his delight, he as getting answers! Answers to the millions of questions that were forming in his head simultaneously. WHAT DID THESE NUMBERS MEAN?!

Eagerly - and perhaps a little TOO eagerly, Zeke flipped open his text book and thumbed his way to page seven as instructed, and there he saw it. The Holy Grail of Answers! Without any hesitation and without any further prompting, Zeke inked his quill and started writing. First he'd write out the proper meaning and THEN he would get to the point of applying it. Yep.

SPOILER!!: notes continued

Life Path Calculations

Emily Browne

3 March 2056
3 + 3 + 2056
= 3 + 3 + 2 + 0 + 5 + 6
= 19
= 1 + 9
= 10
= 1 + 0
= 1

Professor AireyFlamsteed

4 December 2046
4 + 12 + 2046
= 4 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 0 + 4 + 6
= 19
= 1 + 9
= 10
= 1 + 0
= 1

Zeke Rogers (Me because my other data is not right)

24 July 2073
24 + 7 + 2073
= 2 + 4 + 7 + 2 + 0 + 7 + 3
= 25
= 2 + 5
= 7

ONE (1): Your path will take you down the road to independence, and you'll learn its benefits standing on your own two feet and becoming a strong individual. Once you've honed these traits, you move to the next level - leadership. You're a born leader and your path in life will present you with many opportunities to demonstrate your ability. Your strong pioneering spirit, courage, and determination will serve you well along this road. Career/vocation options include fields where you can use your quick mental agility, such as business, health, government, or even a bookstore.

SEVEN (7): Your path will lead you to study, test, and analyze everything because you can't be satisfied with anything at face value. You'll seek the meaning of existence and will always be exploring mysteries and the unexplainable to find meaning for your life. Once you've learned this lesson, you'll move on to the next phase - sharing your wisdom of the metaphysical with others. You're a born seeker - philosophical, scientific, etc. - and because of your solitary investigation of the unknown, others will seek you out for your wisdom. Career/vocation options include any job that calls for analysis, deductive reasoning, or scientific knowledge, such as teaching, or any field where you'll be allowed to study or contemplate things bigger than you.

Emily Browne (1): This life path number is PERFECT for Emily. Like, it IS her. Emily is super strong and doesn't take crap from anyone. She's lived on her own for ages until I came along and she likes being by herself and doesn't like asking for help with anything. AND, she's a leader. A legit leader. She's the leading boss lady of the MLE. Like, she is THE BOSS of everyone there and if that's not strong then I dunno what is.Because she's in MLE she's also super brave and kicks bag guys butts and stuff and the MLE is a government department, so yeah. That ticks all the boxes, right?

So, for the future? She'll just keep being kick-butt? Like, she's already EVERYTHING a ONE is, so, yeah.

Professor Flamsteed (1): I can see how this describes Professor AireyFlamsteed too, see, cause he's also strong and independent like. He is a former Gryffindor - which proves that he's brave and stuff, and on top of that he's a leader as well because he's Gryffindor's Head of House. Like, the LEADER of our House. He has a pioneering spirit too, like, he's free... and is all into the pioneering of space stuff which I guess kinda counts, doesn't it? It's a very ONE thing to be like? So even though he's not into government work like Emily, and even though he doesn't run a bookstore, he's still strong and brave and a leader and explores/pioneers space stuff - hence the ONE.

I don't know much about predicting the future, Professor, so I'm just going to guess that Professor Flamsteed might just like, DISCOVER something super important about space and like LEAD more research in it or something, as well as LEAD Gryffindor to victory.

Zeke Rogers (Me) (7): I'm confused. This life path number is all about being smart and learning things and sharing learning and all of that business. But I'm really not. As much as I want to do well, I'm not the learning type, and defenately not as much as this number says I am. Not scientific or anything, it's not my style. The exploring mysteries bit I can relate to a little bit. I like exploring, and finding new things to do and try, and I suppose SOME things to learn. But SEVEN is not the number for me, this has to be a mistake. Even the sorting hat said I wasn't smart, so... it can't be right.

I can't see me teaching or doing any of the stuff it says I will/should/could???...... I dunno.

...

.....

His head hurt. And he had MILLIONS more questions now than when he started. Uggghhhhhh.
