Did that answer the Ravenclaw's (carpediem) question from earlier? "Today we will be dealing with the first of the four, the Life Path calculation." She flicked her wand and the definition from the textbook appeared on the board. "But before we can dive in, I wonder if I could have three volunteers who have already taken at least a year of Arithmancy?" ......... numbers.
He didn't like numbers and this lesson was already scaring him. In a weird way though, he imagined Arithmancy to be linked with Divination... and Divination wasn't so bad. At least Professor Cassie was nice.
Still, he listened and TRIED his best to understand. It was hard though, because numbers had a way of confusing him. Ugh. Long lesson. He FELT like this was going to be a long long lesson.
He added some notes to his parchment and then waited for the volunteers to do.. whatever it is they were going to do... Quote:

She waited for them to make their way forward before she began to explain their task. "I have put three numbers--," she flicked her wand once more, "--on the board. Please each pick one and demonstrate the reduction method." "Everyone else, please practice on your parchment if you already know the method." It would be a good review for those returning to the subject this year. He didn't know the method, no, so he was just going to copy from the board and HOPE and PRAY that it made sense and he wouldn't have to ask the Professor for help. Because he wouldn't. He'd rather suffer in silence. She'd probably take points from him just because he was stupid... she seemed mean enough.
But back to his notes.
Zeke inked his quill again, and then added to his parchment the notes that were written up on the board.
...
T___________T
Why did they all have to look so different?!?!?!!?
HOW DID IT WORK?!
Zeke kept staring at the board, and then at his parchment, then back at the board, then his parchment.... and finally his textbook. Gulp.
