Thank Merlin for the ability to ignore things and people, especially the loud ones. Parchment full of notes, she glanced up at the mention of an activity. Composure? Cool? Quiet? Beverly had those down. She'd learned them from the best wizard alive; her dad. DUH.

So when Professor Walton came by with the cart and stood off a couple of inches, Beverly straightened her back and raised her chin. Was he looking? Did he see how poised she was?

Approaching the cart she hid the bits of anxiety building in her stomach. One thing was believing she could do something, the other was actually doing the thing and hoping not to get pummeled by bulbed plants. She WOULD punch back. Even kick if she had to.

Calming her breathing and focusing on being cool, Beverly walked like a Auror on duty by the cart, and thanks to Merlin she wasn't pummeled. She passed, yeah? Good. Phew.
