Why was the professor treating her like a crazy person? She wasn't crazy. She was sneaky. Snake-like. She was amazing at sneaking. And the professor, he didn't recognize genius when he saw it, and that was sorta sad. Dot slumped back to her work station and waited for more directions.
When they came, she hurried to pick up her pot. They were meant to fill it with soil, but how full was full? Surely empty enough to allow a big ol' bulb to fly into it without sending clouds of soil spilling everywhere. Dot filled it about three-quarters before skipping back to her desk. There might have been a little cloud spilling as she skipped, but not much.
