The hardest part about today was choosing a favourite superhero to dress up as. Toby, as a rule, tended to not really play favourites all that much (though he
did technically have a lot of favourites, only seldom admitted it), so he had a huge choice over who to dress up as today.
Eventually, he'd gone with Thor, because it sort of pertained back to Ancient Runes (a class he did pretty well in), AND because it was gonna look kinda funny. Thor was this BIIIIIG BULKY superhero, super strong and practically a giant compared to the 5'3", slim-built Toby. It would ALMOST be like dressing up as Javy or something. Almost.
So it probably looked hilarious, when the Toby turned up at the Treehouse in his Thor costume. He wore his black slim-fit jeans, the boots he'd worn on the Greece trip over the summer, and a special
t-shirt (which may or may not have been another contributing factor when deciding who to dress up as). And, of course, who could forget the red cape he had acquired (read: been sent by his grandma) which had flown out behind him awesomely in the breeze on his way here. On Toby's head, he wore what could only be described as a metal bowl with little parchment 'wings' Spellotaped onto the sides. He'd
borrowed the bowl from the kitchens, and was fully intending to return it later.
Aside from the actual costume itself, Toby had gone THE WHOLE HOG and found a way to charm his floppy-ish hair BLOND for the event. It was............ very weird, but hEY, getting into character was going on. Glendower would be proud.
The Hufflepuff ascended the ladder to the treehouse, having JUST A FEW MINOR DIFFICULTIES because of the cape and the fact he was holding a hand-crafted Mjolnir in one hand and had Kyroh's present tucked under his other arm. BUT HE MADE IT. He was UP the ladder and AT the partay.
"GREETINGS!" Toby!Thor called out, attempting to do the booming voice thing and totally failing. He was but a small yet ferocious badger.
Wait, was that.........
