Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger
Thornton had no idea what to expect from this class, given that his assumptions about how much wandwork would be required had been shattered in Astronomy. Could he just plant things or was he going to have to use his wand?
The professor's question intrigued him, though, and he was curious to see what others said. He waited for several students to go first, as he considered what he would share.
Finally, he raised his hand. "Mother says that plants are to be respected for what they do for us or can do to us, whether it's that they are pretty to look at, have healing properties, or could harm you if mishandled." He put his hand down, but then had another thought. "Some plants need people to care for them. And others just need us to stay out of their way."
