Layla hadn't seemed to enjoy it buuuuut Layla didn't enjoy a lot of things. "I honestly can't wait for next class! Will we be continuing with the crystal balls?" She hoped so. It was kind of interesting!
A GIFT. And she was SNAPPING at Eden?! WOW. The girl blushed and tucked some of her hair behind her ear a bit. "Well thanks--Professor Morgan." She beamed and felt a little proud of herself, eh? "It would be cool to have that gift--it's rare and stuff, I know--" HEH. "It must take a lot of focus and YEARS of practice and stuff, right?" She figured that Professor Morgan had to be like...AMAZING and stuff. Chocolate was always the choice of the kiddos, not that she minded. Chocolate was the choice of hers too on most occasions, though she did love her tea. “Hot Chocolate coming up” Flicking her wand and the Hot Chocolate began heating and stirring, finally coming in place in front of Eden.
Loads of people liked it? This made Cassie smile a bit, “Well I hope they did. I love teaching it.” So many seemed off topic or not serious though, she just wasn’t sure. Plus the shaking of her ball was just.. She didn’t even want to think about it. That poor child getting points off, she had been too harsh maybe. “Even if she one or two liked it and learned something then I’m doing my job.” She knew not everyone could learn the skills for Divination, but some would.
It was rare, but people did have it and finding the ways to open it up and use it. “Practice and dedication are keys to opening up ones gift and seeing everything that is there to see.” No matter what form someone practiced if their mind wasn’t open they wouldn’t be doing any type of reading. “Well yes it does. I had been practicing since I was very young. My family has a line of seers my grandmother being the closest, she has taught me everything I know. My parents practice divination daily.” Morning tea readings started when she started drinking tea. “If you are that interested though it becomes fun not work and practicing just becomes a happy time to do what you love.” That’s how she felt about it at least. He wasn't sure how to start the conversation, so he decided to just thank her for her time. thank you! professor for taking time with me. Water? She tilted her head, “Yes of course water is a fine choice.” Not one that she was used to, but to each their own. Filling a glass and handing it over to him Cassie took some tea for herself and sat down on her couch.
The boy seemed bit off and she figured it would be easier to get comfortable. “Never a problem Ian, I love visitors and helping my students.” She was always pleased to see them. “Now what can I help you with?”
