Thornton looked up and smiled weakly at Penelope.
"I.. I don't." He looked back down at his shoes at the mention of Lex, worried.
"I spent time with her before she started acting weird and I'm worried that maybe I'll start acting weird, too..." he trailed off, not wanting to get into the intricacies of the situation.
