He'd just pulled the next piece of parchment into his lap, when a face appeared. "Oh! Hello Professor!" Now, which one? An older student had pointed out who was who at the Feast, and Archie closed one eye as he tried to re-visualise the scene. Aha! "Professor Glendower, right? History of Magic." He grinned. "I'm Archie Ogden." He gave a little wave, mainly because he was too sunk down in amongst the cushions to give her a handshake. Getting out again might prove problematic, unless he was to take the rather inelegant approach of just tipping himself out, cushions and all.
"Hanging out, if I'm honest, Professor. Rather literally, I suppose." He gave her a wry smile, as he let the hammock swing underneath him a little bit. This was such an awesome place to sit - how was he supposed to know it was just a waiting area? "It looked a good spot for writing my letters home," he admitted. "Though it's lovely to meet you, and I wouldn't mind talking about class whilst I'm here. I've been doing a bit of reading, and it'd be nice to maybe get your recommendations for some other books." Still smiling pleasantly, Nessa watched the boy as he seemed to be deep in thought about something. Ohh.. trying to remember her name, how cute! "Why, yes! I am Professor Glendower and I do teach History of Magic here. Are you excited for class?" She just assumed he was taking it as it was compulsory for first years as far as she was aware. "It's very nice to meet you, Archie." She tried committing the name to memory. It had taken her all year to remember last year's students and she was sure there'd be plenty of new ones this year too with the incoming first years and possibly a few transfers. But hopefully she'd be a little better at remembering them this year.
She couldn't help but to grin at his honesty as he swung a bit in the hammock outside her door. "Oh I think it's a wonderful spot for writing letters! The hammock is quite comfy, don't you think? That's why I put it there.. sometimes I curl up in it myself," she admitted with a little wink. And it was perfectly ok if he just wanted to stay in there a little while. "Why certainly! We could have a little chat.. would you like to come in my office or are you content to stay there?" Either way worked fine for her and she honestly wouldn't blame him if he wanted to stay in the hammock. As comfortable as it was, who'd be so quick to get out of it?
