With about an hour before sunset, Airey made his way over to the Observatory with a few star charts tucked under his arm and promptly set them down on the floor by the large central telescope. Tapping his sundial watch, he muttered a few things to himself - numbers mostly - before sitting down on the ground beside the charts with his legs tucked one under the other. Reaching over for one of his charts, he unrolled it in front of him and grabbed a protractor and quill to scribble down a few notes and predictions. He would need to wait for it to get a bit darker out before he could get to the real work. After all, nothing said Autumnal Equinox like star charting and experimentation!
