Why did they look scared?! Ember was like....a puppy. She didn't even kill FLIES for Merlin's sake. She beamed all big and waved at them BOTH. "I saw you watching us meditate-and I wanted to let you KNOW--you two can join us, if you want--I welcome everyone---" she said in a cheerful, delightfully friendly way. Maybe it was the blue hair that scared people away, but she didn't mind showing them that beneath her turquoise head was a very NICE and FRIENDLY person. HEH.
"Oh, he is--" at the man's words, and when she turned around--------WHERE WAS WILLIAM? Her face fell a little and she frowned. The twenty-two year old was CONFUSED. Where was William?! "Well--I hope he's relaxed now. He seemed VERY stressed earlier--just like me--I was attacked by a flying SHOE for Merlin's sake--" she chattered on, running a hand through her hair.
"Are you two on a DATE? OH MY GOODNESS ISN'T THAT CUTE!" she squeaaaaled--Ember had a nasty habit of assuming things, regardless of that cute little saying her dad used to tell her about what assuming things makes you. She clapped her hands a lot and could have DANCED--but she only danced barefoot at home.

So Lara remained in her spot, besides Tiberius did, too, maybe he too was curious. Join? Did they look like they wanted to join? Did Lara? Was she giving off those kind of vibes? Being unemployed changed her vibes now, too! How sad. Though, there wasn't a way to answer the woman's really. What would they say? We were making up stories about people in the park. Probably not wise to say. "Thanks for the offer, think I'll pass. M'not a big fan of meditation. " she said then cracked a small smile as to not look too rude in comparison to the other woman who was cheerful and looked like she was going to hug the life out of everyone.
And just when Lara thought the woman could not get any cheerful ... or weird - because flying shoe, really? - the lady was squeeeeeeeealing. The blond WINCED at the sound but did not cover her eyes which she'd have done on normal circumstances but she did not now. "We're ...... not," she simply answered wondering if she was going to be even heard over the woman's own excitement.
Meditate? That's what they'd been doing? Tiberius frowned, looking in the direction the man had fled. It certainly hadn't looked like any meditation he was familiar with, but then again, his experience had really been in therapeutic settings - something his mum had wanted him to try when the hypervigilence had gotten really bad.
"No, thank you," Tiberius said, hoping that the woman would take the hint and move along. He looked to Lara, who was also declining the offer. But his attention went back to the woman when she described her co-workers stress and the flying shoe. He idly wondered if the shoe flew of its own accord or if someone had thrown it at her.
But his train of thought was
shattered at the squeal. A date?
"No.. no no, not at all." That was all he needed - someone thinking he was spending time in London
dating. He held up his hand to show his ring, feeling oddly defensive.
He looked to Lara, dropping his hand, suddenly concerned that she would be offended at his insistence that they were not on a date.
