Not New York, but it was still interesting. Course, she hadn’t been born in America, but that didn’t count. She’d lived in California her whole eleven years of existence, so that was where she was from. London just made it more possible for her to be able to come here to Hogwarts without having to go anywhere else first. It made it so she was better than her sister.

For ignoring her. How dare they talk to each other and not her? She was the one trying to make conversation here. Like, what even, could she change dorms? Maybe she could sleep in the first year boys dorm. Yes.

Oh but......hang on....America?

"California." Maggie answered before Brooklyn had the chance to. Yes. IN CASE ANYONE CARED. They should though.
