"I'm sure you'll figure it out, both of you," she nodded her head. She wasn't in love, nor was she married but she knew people who were would and it was like one person in two bodies figuring out each other's problems and making the other feel better. The blonde nodded more at his realization. That's exactly what she meant when she said it helped if there was someone fixed in one's life. "Exactly," She was happy that he reached such a conclusion.

She waved her hand dismissively, "No need to be. I like to talk," She certainly had to listen to an annoying boss's rants which she couldn't relate to, anyway. At least with this in one way or another she could understand.

Job search. Hmm. "There are many opportunities. But I'm gonna let you in on a little secret," she said whispering at the end of the sentence, "People in Diplomacy are drama queens so the trouble is finding ones I can tolerate enough to work with," she said with a small laugh.
Tiberius smiled. This had been an unexpected, but rather nice, afternoon. "Thank you," he said, in response to her congratulations. It was still a little new and giddy-inducing to say married instead of dating, or husband instead of boyfriend, and his cheeks pinked a little.

He was lucky. SO lucky. And he knew that. But rather than get too wistful, Tiberius kept his attention on Lara. It was about her stuff, now. Tiberius laughed at her description of diplomacy. Leaning over to share in her conspiratorial whisper, he dropped his voice. "Would you be betraying any national secrets if you told me some of your best drama queen stories?" He laughed, before straightening up. "Seriously, though, I imagine that could be quite difficult. Strong personalities end up doing that sort of work and managing those dynamics must be trying."

He did idly wonder why diplomacy was her chosen field if she found it difficult to work with diplomats, but that was not his place to point out. So instead, he listened intently, rolling a smooth stone between his fingers.
