Why was Kyroh sitting with those big kids? Was this the sort of class where one needed big kid help? Dot didn't really know any big kids yet, not well enough to ask for help, and since class had started, she'd have to just trust that Kyroh knew what he was about.
She perched on the seat next to the girl Kyroh was squished in beside, although she'd almost chosen the boy instead. The girl looked like she'd help, though, and she just wanted to sit by the the boy one 'cause she kind of wanted to look at him. Without it being weird.
If class hadn't started, Dot might have introduced herself to her new seatmates, but they were already being asked to do stuff that seemed challenging and Dot couldn't do that friendly-person thing when she was being challenged. So instead, she just meeped softly and pulled her cauldron out of her bag to clean it. Clean it, though? Was it dirty? How was she meant to clean it? They hadn't had to do this at Durmstrang. The little ginger watched her deskmates with wide eyes, waiting for one of them to do it first. She'd figure it out from there.
