End of term feast? Oh, well then! Miss Cambridge was really going to throw herself into this research and preparation for her futile attempt at removing Sir Nicholas from Hogwarts. Again, not that he was going to go crush her dreams. There was a sliiiiight chance - 0.001% really - that she would actually be successful.

Chuckling a bit as he continued to scribble on the piece of parchment, giving a last elaborate little flourish of his quill as he signed his name and dotted all the 'i's'. "Here you are, Miss Cambridge," he said as he passed the little piece of parchment to her. "Now do go making me regret that I endorsed your research. Treat everything in that section with respect or I'll never hear the end of it."

Oohhhh!! "Should have gotten Lottie to do that last term. Might have come in handy--if that sort of thing worked anyway." But there was no proof in knocking a piece of wood warding off the misfortunes in the world. "Much too late for that now in any case." It was interesting just what people could come up. "And this...is a muggle thing, yeah?" Surely wizards would have better ideas when it came to not jinxing themselves.

The fact Airey didn't have anything else to say on the matter was about as much go ahead as she needed. Him handing her the slip was like pushing the green button...repeatedly. Lex eagerly pulled the parchment to her, the wide grin back on her face. "You insult me, Professor." No displacing the grin though. "I've never been known to hit books that have a tendency to hit back." Nah. That was simply unwise.

This time she took a gulp of her hot chocolate that had by now with the help of several marshmallows become somewhat closer to room temperature. A few more gulps and she was done. "Thanks again Professor. Now if you'll excuse me I have a dream to make come true." Lex pushed away from the table and pulled a handful of marshmallows from the bag, you know, some for the road. "Have a good one."
