Zahra was seated nearby in one of the bean bag chairs, trying to paint her fingernails and do something that resembled homework. Whatevs. The Head Girl's arrival near her was distracting enough that she put the parchment and paint away.

....she didn't like Alexa anymore now that Mikey was gone, she found.

In fact, just looking at her made Zahra feel worse, so she blatantly turned her bean bag chair around to get a new view.
