And apparently, the toilets were HAUNTED? So it was looking like she’d have to write home and ask for a port-a-potty be delivered to her new school pronto. But until then, Tilly never spent more than 34 seconds tops in the bathroom stalls out of fear she’d be about to flush when a ghost popped up to say hello.
Thankfully this time, she didn’t leave the stall traumatised. She lifted her school bag up from where she’d tossed it onto the ground while she raced into the bathroom (though she did slow down to a quick little canter when she noticed it was previously occupied) and swung it over her shoulder.
She circled the taps a good few times, examining them carefully just to be safe. YES, she had learned about one of these sinks leading to a gigantic snakes lair thanks to her mother.
Seriously, what even is this place??? other than AWESOME. Maggie wasn't used to going to the bathroom by herself - it was one of those things you did with your girlfriends after all DURR - so she usually tried to leave as quickly as possible again after...you know...using it. Besides they were rather creepy. And old. And possibly haunted though that might have just been her imagination. After learning about the existence of a Poltergeist, however (thank you Kyroh) she was even more wary of going places by herself.
What if this Peeves person (???) threw poo at her?
That of course didn't mean that Maggie didn't stop to check out her own reflection in the mirror. It WAS rather beautiful after all. Oh, who was she kidding, it was just beautiful, no rather about it. So she was smiling at the mirror, fluffing up her hair, then combing through it with her fingers again when a girl emerged from one of the stalls. Nothing interesting about it of course.
That is until she started circling the taps a few times. THAT caught Maggie's attention and she watched the other girl in the mirror for a few seconds. "What are you doing?" Please stop because it was distracting her from her reflection. |
